About us

  • 1930 : Descendant from a family of chemists, Mr. George Toussaint founded his own ski wax company, PARSENN, and invented grip wax that kept the skier from sliding backwards when going up the hill and allowed him to glide down.
  • 1950 : Transformation of his personal company into SARL PRODUITS CHIMIQUES DU MONT-BLANC (a limited liability company): manufacture of VOLA ski wax (formerly PARSENN brand). Manufacture of waxes and related products for hardware stores.
  • 1955 : Beginning of the automobile anti-freeze business.
  • 1960 : Beginning of the anti-freeze business for the construction sector.
  • 1970 : Beginning of the glycol refining business.
  • 1994 : Separation of the automobile anti-freeze business. Separation of the ski wax business.
  • 1997 :PCMB concentrates exclusively on the following 4 businesses :

    • Glycol refining.
    • Manufacture and commercialisation of MEG based anti-freeze (Monoethylene glycol) for industry.
    • Manufacture and commercialisation of MPG based anti-freeze (Monopropylene glycol) for facilities that require non-toxic heat transfer fluids.
    • Recycling of Used Cooling Liquid (UCL) and Used Heat Transfer Fluid (Used HTF). .
